7th Founder’s Day Celebration at SAI International Residential School

SAI International Residential School commemorates its Annual Founder's Day with a 2-day event, cementing its unwavering allegiance to holistic education. This iconic day was celebrated on December 19 – 20, 2024 under the same roof of students and parents, along with eminent chief guests creating a platform to cherish the achievements in various fields. It was a celebration of fair play, cooperation and cultural richness.

DAY 1: A GRAND OPENING WITH SPORTS & CULTURAL EVENTS
The Annual Sports Day was hosted on 19th December 2024 at the SAI International Stadium. The SAI International Residential School Annual Sports Meet was set aflame with a flamboyant opening by Shri Narendra Hirwani, a legendary cricketer in the history of sports. In activities, students enthusiastically and persistently remained engaged. As the evening continued, the Founder's English play Chronicles of Harry Potter astonished the parents. Every parent enjoyed seeing their children perform on this grand occasion.

DAY 2: ACADEMIC MAJESTY AND CULTURAL VIBRANCY
The second day of celebration revolved around cultural diversity, academic excellence, and arts education. Shri Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate of Cuttack, was the Chief Guest of the occasion. He delivered a motivational speech to the students in which he emphasised balancing academics, athletics, and the arts to become a complete person. He appreciated Late Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, the founder of SAI International Education Group, who made creative contributions to education and initiatives assisting impoverished areas. Shri Shinde also appreciated Dr Silpi Sahoo for carrying out his legacy and tradition.

A Parent-Teacher Meeting marked the end of the 7th Founder's Day, reaffirming the school's emphasis on teamwork and collaborative goals. Both days demonstrated the goal of fostering an atmosphere that combines cultural enrichment, sportsmanship, and academic rigour. Through these initiatives, SIRS keeps encouraging students to develop into self-assured, kind, and well-rounded global citizens.
