It is believed that if you teach women, you have an educated nation. SAI International Residential School believes in the above sentence very strongly. A session on woman empowerment was held at SIRS by the students of class eight on June 29, 2018.
In the Indian society Goddesses are worshiped in the form of Durga, Kali, Laxmi, Saraswati, Parvati very contrary to the reality. It is important to induce the virtue of gender equality from the very childhood to make the future nation with no disparity on the basis of gender. The students portrayed the theme beautifully with a dance and also spoke about equality and women power.
It was indeed a good awareness session for the children.
