From the drop-dead beaches of to the magnificent mountain terrains of the north, from the beautifully carved ancient temples to the historical monuments to see the 7th wonder of the world, yes! the SAIoneers saw it all at their annual educursion to several worths visiting places in India.
The educursion this year was divided into five areas ranging from the north to south India. The education commenced from October 5 and concluded on October 12, 2019. Let’s read a short excerpt from the diary of our SAIoneer Pranav Lath of class VI on the Golden Triangle Educursion .
“It was when our exams got over and excitement began for the National trip. This time we had been to Delhi- Agra- Jaipur. It was October 5, 2019, when we started our journey of the educursion to the Golden Triangle. We were all ready and full of enthusiasm to explore ourselves. We hoped to experience how to manage things on our own and to overcome problems and find out solutions. Our escort teachers Subhada ma’am, Jochhana Ma’am, Ranjit Sir and Sumit Sir gave us a lot of encouragement and confidence to do everything on our own. We gathered a lot of information from our tour guides over there, which helped us to know the past of those monuments like Qutab Minar, Itmad – Ud- Daulah, Tajmahal, Fatehpur- Sikri, Amer Fort, City Palace , Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, India Gate, etc. We also enjoyed a lot at Chokhi Dhani, Kingdom of Dreams, Mc Donalds etc. We were awestruck by the beauty of Akshardham Temple, Birla Temple and Lotus Temple. We tasted the delicious Rajasthani Food and shopped some small items for us. On the way we sang, played antakshari and joked a lot. We loved visiting these places and would love to re-visit them in future too”.
