Resonating with the State Anthem ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ in Support of Odisha’s Linguistic Heritage

In a spirited display of cultural pride, our school, SAI International Residential School enthusiastically heeded the Odisha government's call to honor the First World Odia Language Conference 2024 in Bhubaneswar from 3-5 February, 2024 which is a celebration of the antiquity and continuity of Odia, being one of the six classical languages of India. Responding to the government's appeal, our students and SAI community joined millions of Odias across the World, singing the revered 'Bande Utkala Janani' at 11:30 am on 3rd February 2024 in a special combined assembly from Astaranga Auditorium. The state anthem of Odisha resonated through our school premises, fostering a sense of unity and celebrating the rich linguistic heritage. This collective effort showcased our commitment to preserving and promoting the Odia language, aligning seamlessly with the cultural significance of the event and the government's call to embrace linguistic identity.
