SAI International Residential School the #1 co-ed Boarding School of Eastern India inaugurated its National Cadet Corps (NCC) room on Monday, July 11, 2022. It was inaugurated by Lt. Col. S.P Otta, Commanding Officer, NCC, Cuttack.
25 SAIoneers underwent a rigorous physical test after an interactive session with NCC officials. This will be the first batch of NCC at SIRS.
NCC helps in nation-building. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline, and Adventure Training.
Speaking in the occasion Headmaster Shri Amitabh Agnihotri said,” SIRS strives for an all-round excellence, its possible through not only academics but also through activities laid down by NCC, we are happy to have an NCC room at SIRS which will enhance the 21st century skills of leadership, problem solving, empathy, and problem solving skills.”
