On the 13th of July 2023, a Thursday, the Interact Club members of SAI International Residential School, embraced the saying, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness." Fuelled by their reverence for this divine knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility towards their home, nation, and the world at large, the SAIoneers of the Interact Club initiated a charitable endeavour within their school. A Cleanliness Drive was organized in the school temple Premises, the source of divine light and might for all students. The primary objective of this program was to raise awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness and its associated benefits.
Thirty students from Grades IV-XII actively participated in the drive, with the teachers also playing an essential role. Divided into five groups, each led by a group leader, the students enthusiastically and diligently cleaned their designated areas, including the temple premises and the neighboring gardens. Under the loving guidance of their teachers, the participants found great joy in witnessing the transformation of the area after the drive. The experience was both wonderful and amazing, leaving a lasting impact on all involved and inspiring them to continue engaging in such activities, contributing their share to creating a healthier and cleaner planet.
