The fresh batch of students of SAI International Residential School went for their maiden educursion to different places of India on September 14, 2018 for 6 days 7 nights trip to different places along with teachers.
Being the first day of the tour for the students and teachers of classes V to IX took blessing of SAI baba and advanced towards the Biju Patnaik International Airport to board their respective flights to reach their tagged destinations. The class V and VI student along with their teachers reached Jaipur via Hyderabad where they had a sumptuous lunch. From Jaipur they travelled by road towards Jaisalmer. At Jaipur they had a short snack break and headed towards their destination. It was about 10 hours overnight journey. They had Ajmer and then the journey would continue until the morning to the destination point of Jaisalmer.
The students of class VII proceeded to The Golden Triangle excursion to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. They safely reached Delhi by the mid noon. The students enjoyed and relished the lunch at McDonalds and soon after left for Agra where they reached Hotel at 7.30 PM meanwhile on the way they had a snacks break in the bus. While the dinner was served by 8:30 PM after relaxing and freshening up in their rooms
The students and teachers of class VIII reached Bangalore the IT Hub of the county airport by the afternoon. Students were amazed to see the greenery and cleanliness of the wonderful IT city. They checked-in the hotel and had a delicious lunch. Soon after lunch they visited the Vishveraya Technical Museum. It was a very informative session for the students as they got to see some interesting innovations that helped India to grow & develop. Unfortunately due to heavy rain they could not visit other places. They returned to the hotel at 6:45 pm and had dinner at 8:00 PM. In the cultural Karnataka tour they will be visiting Bangalore, Mysore and Ooty.
Students of class IX were very enthusiastic about leadership camp to Bir, Biling and Dharamshala as it’s a mixture of adventure and infotainment. They reached Delhi and waited there for the next flight to Chandigarh. After refreshments at Chandigarh they straight away proceeded to Chandigarh’s famous Rock Garden created by Mr.Neki and spent an hour there. The students were wonderstruck by the utilization of waste. It was the best out of waste. They then headed towards an overnight journey by road to Bir.
The students will be back rejuvenated with bucket-full first hand information about the different cities of India on September 20, 2018. The educursion is a part of the curriculum on SAI International Residential School to inculcate leadership, independence and exposure through experience based education.
This excursion will be in the memory of each child for the life time.
