For the enhancement of teaching skills teachers of SAI International Residential School are constantly attending workshops and trainings. Workshops in Mathematics and IT were held at SIRS to make the process of learning more interesting and gripping. Both the workshops were held on March 2, 2019 by NIIT resource person.
The Mathesmatics workshop was on the use of Maths lab for class activities, quizzes and notes. The resource person demonstrated the use of manipulatives for the explanation of particular topics for classes V to X. He also demonstrated the use of Geometer’s Sketchpad.
While the computer Workshop highlighted the use of IT Wizard an online assessment & online exams, ILP (Integrated Learning Platform), Scratch: the 2nd modeling tool (how to create an animated car racing track), JAVA – BLUE JAY, Q-BASIC and others for helping out the students better understand the technical terms and programming languages.
It was a great learning for the teachers of SIRS.
