Listening to music is alluring to ears and foot tapping comes in as a bonus. Don’t just foot tap; loosen up and dance to glory.  Dancing is a stress buster, it instills positivity, it keeps u in shape, lightens and brightens up your mood, improves your mental health and boosts happiness. Dancing has always been a part of the human culture. It’s imbibed in our system. Dancing can come naturally or you may take professional training from certified trainers. You can choose from the variety of dance forms any from Indian classical to western dance forms. You can choose to learn dance or you can even learn online from the world famous dancers sitting at home through their websites or through their YouTube channels. You can learn contemporary, bollywood, jazz, zumba, salsa, acrobatics, robotics, hip hop, belly dance and the list is exhaustive to choose from. Before you choose, ask yourself a few questions like:

  • Do I want to dance to improve my fitness?
  • Am I trying to improve my flexibility and coordination?
  • Do I prefer fast dancing or slow dancing?
  • Do I want to dance with a partner, or on my own?
  • Do I want to join a group, or have private lessons?
  • Will I enjoy competitions, or do I want to dance just for fun?

Try making your own dance choose your song and form steps of your own, record it and share it with your friends and family. Ask your mom to join you and you will surely enjoy dancing with her. Dancing is fun, the more you dance; the more you get attracted to it. It forces you to dance even more.
