SAI International Residential School hosted a musical extravaganza by the renowned Violin maestro, Dr. Mysore Manjunath along with his very young violinist son Shri Sumanth Manjunath and his team of eminent musicians like on the Mridangam was Shri Phagun and Shri M. Surya Prasad Rao on the Ghatam. The program was conferred by the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) in the state-of-the-art auditorium of SAI International Residential School.

Dr. Manjunath, popularly known as Mysore Brothers is the son and disciple of renowned violinist Prof. Mahadevappa. Dr. Manjunath has performed across the world including The Prestigious Sydney Opera House- Australia, Royal Albert Hall- London, Common thread Festival in Oregon, SAARC summit, Milano Musica in Italy and many more.

It was a scintillating performance by the father and son duo that left the audience startled. Their unique style was a quintessential blend of musical perfection and emotional connect. Dr. Manjunath gave his valuable tips on music and also described the various raagas like raga Abhogi, raaga Hamsadwani which is considered as the favorite raaga of Lord Ganesha and raaga Kapi as he played them for the audience. The musicians ended the performance with a bhajan, showcasing the extraordinary musical acumen of the world-famous musician.
